Nathan Grahame vs Felix French

Boxing Daily Report from the Dayo Olatunbosun promoted show at San Diego Sharer, San Diego,  taking place on 06/06/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nathan Grahame (18 - 14(1) - 7) who hails from San Bernardino, USA and Felix French(27 - 15(6) - 3) from Stockton, USA.  Grahame weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces, while French weighed in at 130 pounds and 8 ounces.    As French came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ian Blevens, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kelton, Mick Gwilym and Edward Danskin.  

Round 1: 

Grahame sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Grahame throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
French gets on the inside.  Grahame wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as French dabs at his face checking for damage.  
French gets on the inside and forces Grahame to retreat onto the ropes.  Grahame is on target with a left hook to French's body.  
French quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
French advances into close range.  French sidesteps to the right of his opponent andFrench wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Grahame has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Grahame is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
French steps to the outside.  French feints a cross and triggers a left hook counter from Grahame.  French springs the trap, countering with  a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Grahame's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Grahame's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  French's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
