Alexandre Seye vs Louie Darrieux

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Pikine Baudin, Pikine,  taking place on 03/06/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal-Dakar Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alexandre Seye (9 - 16(3) - 3) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Louie Darrieux(21(4) - 4(3)) from Dakar, Senegal.  Seye weighed in at 232 pounds and 15 ounces, while Darrieux weighed in at 232 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Forrest Coly, and the three ringside judges are Ranger Angrand, Laurent Courtellemont and Romain Ndong.  

Round 1: 

Seye lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Darrieux gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Darrieux is on target with a right hook to Seye's ribcage.  Darrieux holds on to his opponent.  Darrieux pushes his forearm into Seye's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Darrieux about fouling.  
Darrieux lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Darrieux sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Darrieux drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE SEYE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Darrieux tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  Seye quickly recovers. 
Darrieux pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Darrieux lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Darrieux clinches his opponent.  Darrieux leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Darrieux hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Seye attempts to land a jab, but Darrieux slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook to Seye's body.  
Darrieux hits home with a right hook.  
Seye is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Darrieux is looking to close the distance.  Seye pivots to the side of his opponent.  Darrieux lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Darrieux ties up his opponent.  Darrieux tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Seye's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Darrieux manouvers Seye into the corner.  Darrieux lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Darrieux is on target with a right hook to Seye's body.  
Darrieux lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Darrieux quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Darrieux lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Darrieux forces Seye to back into the ropes.  Darrieux digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Seye tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left.  
Seye is on target with a jab.  
Darrieux gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Darrieux steps inside and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Seye connects with a firm left hook.  
Seye steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Darrieux closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS SEYE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Seye steps away from his opponent.  Darrieux is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Darrieux lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Seye now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Darrieux drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Darrieux manouvers Seye into the corner.  Darrieux drives a solid right hook into Seye's body.  
Darrieux lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Darrieux holds on to his opponent.  Darrieux throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Darrieux.  
Seye tries to land a left uppercut, but Darrieux sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Darrieux sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.  
Darrieux manages to force Seye into the corner.  Darrieux digs in a sharp right hook to Seye's body.  
Darrieux digs in a telling right hook to his opponents body.  SEYE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Darrieux throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  Seye quickly recovers. 
Darrieux closes the distance and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Darrieux digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Darrieux drives a solid cross into his opponents body.  
Darrieux closes the distance and lands a left hook.

Darrieux manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Darrieux is on target with a firm left uppercut to Seye's body.
