Balder Varn vs Thoralf Stephensen

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo,  taking place on 21/06/2036:

Clearly ADR Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nordic Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Balder The White Bomber Varn (52(39) - 2(2)) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Thoralf Stephensen(34(4) - 8(4)) from Odense, Denmark.  Varn weighed in at 160 pounds, while Stephensen weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Unni Horne, and the three ringside judges are Unni Billing, Sigurd Nesset and Haldor Solem.  

Round 1: 

Stephensen throws a left hook, but Varn ties up his opponent.  Varn pushes his forearm into Stephensen's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Varn.  
Varn lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Varn clinches his opponent.  Varn hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Varn about fouling.  
Varn steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Stephensen pivots to the right of his opponent.  Stephensen throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a nasty right uppercut.  STEPHENSEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Stephensen quickly recovers.

Varn tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Stephensen behind the head. Varn throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Varn lands a right hook.  Varn attempts to land a left hook, but Stephensen dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Varn gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Stephensen's body.

Varn closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Varn holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Stephensen pushes his forearm into Varn's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Varn digs in a sharp left uppercut to Stephensen's body.  
Stephensen tries to land a cross, but Varn slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Stephensen's liver.  
Varn gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Stephensen slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Varn lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Varn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Stephensen hits home with a right hook.  Stephensen tries to land a left hook, but Varn sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Varn gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Stephensen recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
