Greg Damon vs Mark Devlin

Boxing Daily Report from the Alhassan Promotions promoted show at Perth Wyllie, Perth,  taking place on 22/05/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Western Australia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Greg Damon (23 - 5 - 2) who hails from Perth, Australia and Mark Devlin(5(5) - 0 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Damon and Devlin weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Morton, and the three ringside judges are Ben Banis, Chris Vaughn and Billy Neish.  

Round 1: 

Damon tries to keep the action at long range.  Devlin lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Damon steps to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Devlin walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Devlin is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  Devlin throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Devlin advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Damon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Damon is on target with a left hook to Devlin's body.  
Damon steps away from his opponent.  Devlin connects with a stinging cross.  
Devlin hits home with a sharp cross.  
Devlin hits home with a firm cross.  
Damon pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Damon steps away from his opponent and connects with an overhand right.  
Damon tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Damon's body.  
Devlin throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Devlin lands two left hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Devlin is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.

Devlin gets on the inside.  Damon throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Devlin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Devlin cuts off the ring, trapping Damon on the ropes.  Devlin is on target with a right hook.  
Devlin steps inside and digs in a right hook to Damon's body.  
Devlin walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Devlin is on target with a left uppercut to Damon's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Damon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Damon's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Damon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Damon digs in a left hook to Devlin's body.  
Devlin advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Damon steps away from his opponent.  Damon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Damon attempts to land a jab, but Devlin slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Damon tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Devlin is looking to close the distance and slams a hurtful right hook into Damon's ribcage.  DAMON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Devlin could be enough to finish Damon!  Devlin lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DAMON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Damon has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Damon is looking to keep his distance.  Devlin lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Devlin steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Damon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Devlin manouvers Damon into the corner.  Devlin drives a sharp left hook into Damon's liver.  
Damon attempts to land a right hook, but Devlin sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Devlin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Damon steps away from his opponent.  Devlin is on target with a solid cross.  
Devlin lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Devlin is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Damon almost instantly recovers. 
Damon steps to the outside and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  Damon attempts to land an overhand right, but Devlin blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Devlin throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Devlin closes the distance and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Damon lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Devlin is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Devlin is on target with a jab.  
Devlin advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Damon circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Devlin finds the target with a jab.  
Devlin gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KNOCKS DAMON DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.

Devlin forces Damon to back into the ropes.  Devlin connects with a right uppercut.  
Devlin lands a solid left uppercut.

Devlin gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Damon's body.  
Devlin slams a nasty right hook into his opponents body.  DAMON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Devlin senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Devlin lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS DAMON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Devlin slams a hurtful right uppercut into his opponents body.  DAMON IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Devlin slams a DEVASTATING left hook into his opponents liver.  DAMON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE DAMON THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Devlin!
