Dong-won Sung vs Waqar Qureshi

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Changwon Stadium, Changwon,  taking place on 05/07/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KBS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Power Dong-won Sung (40(38) - 13(9)) who hails from Iksan, South Korea and Waqar Qureshi(30(6) - 15(11) - 1) from Irbid, Jordan.  Both Sung and Qureshi weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yong-jae Ham, and the three ringside judges are Se-jong Kang, Myung-joo Paik and Chang-soo Kwon.  

Round 1: 

Sung is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Qureshi steps inside.  Sung throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Sung holds on to his opponent.  Sung hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Sung steps away from his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Qureshi steps inside.  Qureshi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Qureshi throws a right hook, but Sung holds on to his opponent.  Sung pushes his forearm into Qureshi's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sung is on target with a sharp jab to his opponents body.  
Qureshi closes the distance.  Qureshi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sung digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sung is looking to keep his distance and lands a hard jab.

Sung lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Qureshi steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Qureshi closes the distance.  Qureshi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Qureshi tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a FEARSOME cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE QURESHI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Qureshi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Qureshi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Qureshi lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Sung ties up his opponent.  Qureshi throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Sung throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Qureshi manages to force Sung onto the ropes.  Sung drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Sung holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Sung pushes his forearm into Qureshi's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sung switches the action to the outside.  Qureshi hits home with a sharp jab.  
Qureshi lands a firm right hook.  
Sung steps to the outside.  Qureshi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sung lands a spiteful jab.  
Qureshi steps inside.  Qureshi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Sung is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Qureshi connects with a stinging cross.  
Qureshi gets on the inside.  Sung drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Sung is looking to keep the action on the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.

Sung switches the action to the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Qureshi closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Qureshi forces Sung to retreat onto the ropes.  Qureshi digs in a right hook to Sung's body.  Sung ties up his opponent.  Qureshi hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Qureshi.  
Sung steps away from his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Qureshi gets on the inside.  Sung hits home with a solid left hook.  
Qureshi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sung steps to the outside.  Sung feints a cross, and then EXPLODES a MASSIVE overhand left into his opponents face.  QURESHI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Qureshi recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Qureshi advances into close range and walks Sung onto the ropes.  Qureshi drives a solid right hook into Sung's body.

Qureshi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Qureshi lands a right uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Sung is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Qureshi throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sung sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Qureshi connects with a cross.  
Sung is on target with a solid cross.  
Sung lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.

Qureshi steps inside and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Sung steps to the outside and is on target with a DEVASTATING overhand left.  DOWN GOES QURESHI!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.
