Gazi Merouane vs Ibrahim Thomson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Algeria-Alger promoted show at Algiers Daid, Algiers,  taking place on 19/05/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Algeria-Alger Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal Algérie, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gazi Merouane (13 - 4(1) - 3) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Ibrahim Thomson(20 - 12 - 4) from Algiers, Algeria.  Both Merouane and Thomson weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danyaal Sidi, and the three ringside judges are Umair Farooq, Kamran Bacha and Faisal Lahcen.  

Round 1: 

Merouane lands a cross.
