Jeraldo Dumo vs David Gauam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Rizal promoted show at Antipolo Poblete, Antipolo,  taking place on 25/05/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jeraldo Dumo (2 - 0) who hails from Santa Rosa, Philippines and David Gauam(2 - 2 - 1) from Quezon City, Philippines.  Both Dumo and Gauam weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rogelio Banda, and the three ringside judges are Berto Dumagan, Franco Gurule and Seth Ralutin.  

Round 1: 

Dumo is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Gauam closes the distance.  Dumo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Dumo holds on to his opponent.  Dumo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Dumo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dumo is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand right.  
Gauam attempts to land a jab, but Dumo blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gauam is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Dumo lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Dumo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Dumo pushes his forearm into Gauam's face.  The referee warns Dumo and breaks the clinch.  
Dumo feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Dumo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Dumo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Dumo lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dumo feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Gauam is looking to close the distance.  Gauam sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dumo lands a left uppercut.  Dumo clinches his opponent.  Dumo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dumo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a hard jab.  Dumo tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gauam closes the distance.  Dumo attempts to land a right hook, but Gauam slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gauam advances into close range.  Dumo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dumo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Dumo holds on to his opponent.  Dumo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dumo steps to the outside and lands an overhand right, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gauam advances into close range.  Gauam sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dumo connects with a sharp left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gauam dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Dumo switches the action to the outside.  Dumo feints a cross, and then lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gauam manouvers Dumo onto the ropes.  Dumo lands a stinging left hook.  
Dumo is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Dumo lands a stinging jab.  
Dumo is on target with a jab.  
Dumo feints a left hook, and then lands with a hard jab.  
Dumo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Dumo feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gauam's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Dumo steps to the outside.  Dumo feints a left, and then lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Gauam closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dumo steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dumo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dumo feints a right hook, and then lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dumo tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2, KNOCKING GAUAM DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Dumo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Dumo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS GAUAM TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Dumo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Dumo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS GAUAM TO THE CANVAS!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Dumo!
