Sierra Pita vs Lorenzo Penaloza

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Estadio Morelos, Ecatepec,  taking place on 05/07/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Pita (7(3) - 0) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Lorenzo Penaloza(2 - 3(2) - 2) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Pita weighed in at 147 pounds, while Penaloza weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dario Montes, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Montalvan, Pedro Quintana and Carlos Mazariegos.  

Round 1: 

Pita steps inside.  Penaloza throws a right hook, but Pita holds on to his opponent.  Pita pushes his forearm into Penaloza's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pita.  
Penaloza pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Pita steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Penaloza quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pita lands a firm overhand right.  
Pita lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pita gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pita advances into close range.  Pita pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Penaloza is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pita sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Pita steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Pita holds on to his opponent.  Pita tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Penaloza behind the head. The referee warns Pita and breaks the clinch.  
Pita pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pita attempts to land a cross, but Penaloza slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Penaloza tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a cross, but Pita blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Pita steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Pita lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pita is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Pita closes the distance.  Pita pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Penaloza is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pita feints a left hook, but Penaloza is not fooled and lands with a right hook.  
Pita gets on the inside.  Pita pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Pita lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Pita sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pita hits home with a left uppercut.  Pita clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Penaloza pushes his forearm into Pita's face.  The referee warns Penaloza and breaks the clinch.  
Pita feints a cross, tricking Penaloza into countering with a right uppercut.  Pita springs the trap, countering with  a left hook.  
Pita lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Pita gets on the inside.  As Pita tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Penaloza dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pita gets on the inside.  Pita lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Pita steps inside.  Pita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pita lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  Pita clinches his opponent.  Pita leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Pita's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Penaloza leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Pita steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Pita digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Pita sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Pita pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp jab.  
Pita closes the distance.  Pita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Pita pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Pita closes the distance and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Pita clinches his opponent.  Pita leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pita feints a jab, tricking Penaloza into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Pita springs the trap, countering with  a left hook.  
Pita closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pita hits home with a right uppercut.  
Pita drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Pita pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Pita feints a right hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Penaloza almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Penaloza tries to step out of his opponents range.  Pita sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pita attempts to land a jab, but Penaloza sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Pita hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Pita closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Penaloza's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

He continues the combination and lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS PENALOZA!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Pita!
