Ian Tagert vs Joel Cumming

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Buffalo Niagara CC Ballroom, Buffalo,  taking place on 25/04/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ian Tagert (6(1) - 0) who hails from Chicago, USA and Joel Cumming(3 - 0) from New York City, USA.  Both Tagert and Cumming weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Peavey, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Ferguson, Davie Cleary and Enzo Chiti.  

Round 1: 

Tagert finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Cumming advances into close range.  Tagert lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Cumming walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tagert hits home with a left hook.

Cumming closes the distance.  Tagert wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Cumming has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Tagert is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cumming is looking to close the distance.  Tagert pivots to the side of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!
