Josce Fabre vs Bruce Shields

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Phillippe Florian Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 16/04/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Josce Fabre (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Bruce Shields(9 - 6 - 3) from Toronto, Canada.  Fabre weighed in at 241 pounds and 3 ounces, while Shields weighed in at 248 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Mabon, and the three ringside judges are Erec Adore, Brendan Aitken and Michael Oliver.  

Round 1: 

Fabre gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fabre dabs at his face checking for damage.  Fabre has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Fabre lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Fabre gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fabre digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Fabre wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shields dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Shields throws a right uppercut, but Fabre holds on to his opponent.  Fabre pushes his forearm into Shields's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fabre about fouling.  
Fabre advances into close range.  Fabre quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shields lands a left hook.  
Fabre connects with a left hook.  
Fabre lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fabre steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Shields's liver.  
Fabre cuts off the ring, trapping Shields in a neutral corner.  Fabre lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shields quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Fabre lands a solid jab.  
Fabre walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Fabre hits home with a left uppercut.  
Fabre connects with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shields's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Shields's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Shields's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
