Shankar Batta vs Kailash Surendran

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Chennai Yohannan, Chennai,  taking place on 23/04/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the India-Tamil Nadu Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shankar Batta (17 - 9 - 1) who hails from Chennai, India and Kailash Surendran(11 - 5 - 1) from Chennai, India.  Batta weighed in at 115 pounds, while Surendran weighed in at 114 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Madhav Kamdar, and the three ringside judges are Jyotish Narra, Girish Mehra and Baldev Bahri.

Surendran throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Surendran clinches his opponent.  Batta hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch.
