Leeroy Gitau vs Kasi Nkya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Koskei, Mombasa,  taking place on 13/04/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leeroy Gitau (5 - 3(1) - 7) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Kasi Nkya(17 - 11 - 9) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Gitau and Nkya weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Yiampoy, and the three ringside judges are Robert Perlo, George Waciuma and Nwa Lugano.  

Round 1: 

Nkya drives a right hook into Gitau's ribcage.  
Nkya attempts to land a left hook, but Gitau blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nkya hits home with a left hook.  
Gitau hits home with a cross.  
Nkya throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Nkya steps inside.  Gitau lands a left hook.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
