Hugh Takes vs Dave Curto

Boxing Daily Report from the Joe Mama promoted show at Sydney Glasco, Sydney,  taking place on 15/04/2036:

Clearly Joe Mama have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Takes (14 - 24 - 5) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Dave Curto(15 - 3) from Newcastle, Australia.  Both Takes and Curto weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Petruccioli, and the three ringside judges are Arnie Lipton, Arnie Lipton and David Hollinger.  

Round 1: 

Curto hits home with a cross.  
Curto is on target with a jab.  
Takes advances into close range.  Curto lands a right hook.  
Takes is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Curto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Takes steps inside.  Curto pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Curto voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Takes steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Takes lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Takes feints a cross, but Curto ignores the feint and lands with a right uppercut.  
Curto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Takes dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Takes's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Takes's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
