John Ruddock vs Gethin Brydon

Boxing Daily Report from the ALT Promotions promoted show at Stanley Park Athletics Arena, Blackpool,  taking place on 07/04/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Premier Sports, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are John Ruddock (5 - 0) who hails from Swansea, UK and Gethin Brydon(13 - 20(2) - 4) from Coventry, UK.  Both Ruddock and Brydon weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Crumlish, and the three ringside judges are Jamie McNabb, Chris Llywelyn and David Duffy.  

Round 1: 

Brydon advances into close range.  Ruddock quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.

Ruddock walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Brydon attempts to land a left hook, but Ruddock dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Ruddock is on target with a right hook.  Ruddock clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ruddock pushes his forearm into Brydon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ruddock.

Ruddock SLAMS a mean left uppercut into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE BRYDON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Brydon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ruddock sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Ruddock is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Ruddock lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a cross to the head, DROPPING BRYDON TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ruddock!
