Edward Wadle vs John Shirah

Boxing Daily Report from the yahir promoted show at Marriott Crystal Ballroom, St. Louis,  taking place on 23/03/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Missouri Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edward Wadle (27(8) - 4 - 1) who hails from Kansas City, USA and John Shirah(13 - 14(2) - 2) from Kansas City, USA.  Wadle weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Shirah weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Ormond, and the three ringside judges are Dom Quinn, Gregor Dall and Lucas Geddie.  

Round 1: 

Wadle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.

Wadle is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Wadle tries to keep the action at long range.  Wadle feints a jab, and then lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Wadle connects with a cross.  
Wadle pivots from in front of his opponent.  Shirah drives a left hook into Wadle's body.

Shirah closes the distance.  Wadle drives a right hook into his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wadle dabs at his face checking for damage.  Wadle has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
