Waqas Qureshi vs Nuru Verjee

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Haaris Haque Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 27/02/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqas Qureshi (9 - 13(1) - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Nuru Verjee(20 - 16(1) - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Qureshi and Verjee weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Ngoche, and the three ringside judges are Ludacris Nkaissery, LeBron Naikuni and Duncan Wakihuri.  

Round 1: 

Verjee closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.
