Justin St. Marie vs Paul Tosh

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Bob Guertin Arena, Gaineau,  taking place on 14/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Justin St. Marie (6 - 0) who hails from Lonueuil, Canada and Paul Tosh(7 - 7) from Calgary, Canada.  St. Marie weighed in at 146 pounds And 8 ounces, while Tosh weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Erec Adore, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Marceau, Michael Oliver and Germain Baute.  

Round 1: 

St. Marie advances into close range.  Tosh pivots from in front of his opponent.  St. Marie throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  St. Marie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, St. Marie pushes his forearm into Tosh's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
St. Marie closes the distance.  St. Marie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
St. Marie gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
St. Marie forces Tosh to retreat into a neutral corner.  St. Marie lands a right hook.  St. Marie clinches his opponent.  St. Marie pushes his forearm into Tosh's face.  The referee warns St. Marie and breaks the clinch.

The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
St. Marie advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
St. Marie drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tosh has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
