Mark Livingston vs John Ferries

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Hosick, Waitakere,  taking place on 31/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Livingston (19 - 19(6) - 2) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and John Ferries(13 - 16 - 2) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Livingston weighed in at 130 pounds, while Ferries weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Blake Brown, and the three ringside judges are Robert Haturini, Justin Kahukakanui and Clinton Martie.

Livingston connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Livingston.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
