Mark Rege vs Dave Wanjau

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Nzimbi, Mombasa,  taking place on 28/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Rege (6 - 7 - 3) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Dave Wanjau(24(3) - 9(1)) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Rege weighed in at 175 pounds And 9 ounces, while Wanjau weighed in at 174 pounds And 15 ounces.    As Rege came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Paul Kithuka, and the three ringside judges are Lisimba Dalrymple, Michael Bwakali and Sam Yiampoy.
