Vernon Seyrig vs Ali Halim

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Dakar Arena, Dakar,  taking place on 16/02/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vernon Seyrig (18(10) - 0) who hails from Touba, Senegal and Ali Halim(30(13) - 13(4) - 1) from Giza, Egypt.  Both Seyrig and Halim weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leggett Kasse, and the three ringside judges are Sid Soumah, Rush de Brosse and Turiau Millot.  

Round 1: 

Seyrig is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  Seyrig throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head, DROPPING HALIM TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Halim now seems to have his senses back.  
Seyrig cuts off the ring, trapping Halim on the ropes.  Seyrig lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Halim steps to the outside.  Seyrig feints a cross, and then finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Seyrig lands a hurtful left hook.  HALIM IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Seyrig!
