Dave Maurizio vs Ollie Melrose

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Boxing Organisation promoted show at Redcliffe Tavern, Brisbane,  taking place on 30/12/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Dave Maurizio (0 - 0) who hails from Townsville, Australia and Ollie Melrose(7 - 4 - 2) from Adelaide, Australia.  Maurizio weighed in at 111 pounds And 11 ounces, while Melrose weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Weir, and the three ringside judges are Dave Antoni, Dan Nish and Fraser McNabb.  

Round 1: 

Melrose sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Maurizio attempts to land a jab, but Melrose slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

As they grapple, Maurizio pushes his forearm into Melrose's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Melrose throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Maurizio is on target with a right uppercut.  Maurizio attempts to land a jab, but Melrose sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Maurizio closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Maurizio ties up his opponent.  Maurizio leans on his opponent using all his weight. Maurizio pushes his forearm into Melrose's face.  The referee warns Maurizio and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Melrose's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Melrose's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
