Denholm Thiesen vs Mark McClelland

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Hisense Arena, Melbourne,  taking place on 21/01/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Denholm Thiesen (0 - 0) who hails from Aalborg, Denmark and Mark McClelland(1 - 0 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Thiesen weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while McClelland weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Munhall, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Gebbie, Jake Denniston and George McTaggart.

McClelland is looking to keep his distance.  McClelland quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Thiesen is on target with a cross.  
Thiesen advances into close range.  McClelland wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Thiesen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Thiesen steps inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Thiesen is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Thiesen holds on to his opponent.  Thiesen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Thiesen pushes his forearm into McClelland's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Thiesen.  
Thiesen forces McClelland to retreat into a neutral corner.  Thiesen lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Thiesen is on target with a stinging left hook to McClelland's body.  
Thiesen digs in a left hook to McClelland's ribs.  
Thiesen lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McClelland quickly recovers. 
Thiesen digs in a forceful left hook to McClelland's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCCLELLAND WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Thiesen senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Thiesen lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS MCCLELLAND SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like McClelland has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

McClelland switches the action to the outside.  Thiesen lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Thiesen stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  McClelland throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Thiesen advances into close range and manages to force McClelland into the corner.  Thiesen lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Thiesen lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Thiesen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Thiesen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a powerful left uppercut into McClelland's body.  MCCLELLAND IS HURT!

He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES MCCLELLAND!  He manages to get up at 4.  McClelland now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Thiesen lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES MCCLELLAND!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.
