Cortez Villas vs Joaquin Pelayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Pestana, Montevideo,  taking place on 16/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cortez Villas (25 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Joaquin Playa Pelayo(37(7) - 14(3) - 4) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Villas weighed in at 122 pounds, while Pelayo weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Jiminez, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Mazariegos, Ximen Feria and Manuel Truan.
