Jose Pequeno vs Fausto Rojo

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Centro de Convenciones Figali, Panama City,  taking place on 01/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Max, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Pequeno (26(24) - 2(2)) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Fausto Rojo(20(9) - 11(3) - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Pequeno and Rojo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Cobo, and the three ringside judges are Zelipe Ortez, Diego Caudillo and Urvano Castrejon.  

Round 1: 

Rojo throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Rojo closes the distance.  Pequeno lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Pequeno hits home with a spiteful jab.  Pequeno tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Rojo closes the distance and forces Pequeno to back into the ropes.  Rojo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Pequeno parries the shot and counters with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE ROJO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rojo almost instantly gets his legs back.

Pequeno DETONATES a SAVAGE left hook on his opponents face.  ROJO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Rojo has now recovered from that shot earlier.
