Alejandro Mello vs Xaverius Horta

Boxing Daily Report from the Agbeko Promotions promoted show at Felippe Nuncio Gym, Belo Horizonte,  taking place on 01/11/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Alejandro Mello (2 - 0) who hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Xaverius Horta(1 - 2) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Both Mello and Horta weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Recio, and the three ringside judges are Juan Mendosa, Venacio Parras and Carlos Recio.  

Round 1: 

Mello is looking to close the distance.  Horta pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mello lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Horta closes the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Horta.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Mello digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Mello gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut.
