Francisco Agbayani vs Quiqui Platero

Boxing Daily Report from the Phiri Promotions promoted show at Imus Labuguen, Imus,  taking place on 30/09/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Francisco Agbayani (26 - 13(1) - 3) who hails from Imus, Philippines and Quiqui Platero(17(6) - 4) from Dasmarinas, Philippines.  Both Agbayani and Platero weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ellis Suguitan, and the three ringside judges are Diego Lakian, Santiago Mieras and Peter Lungay.  

Round 1: 

Agbayani lands an overhand left.  
Agbayani finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Platero hits home with a left hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Agbayani dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Agbayani.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Agbayani throws a left hook, but Platero ties up his opponent.  Platero pushes his forearm into Agbayani's face.  The referee warns Platero and breaks the clinch.

Platero walks Agbayani into the corner.  Platero drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  Platero holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Platero pushes his forearm into Agbayani's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Agbayani switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Agbayani throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Platero advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Platero is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Platero forces Agbayani to back into a corner.  Platero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Agbayani tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Platero blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Platero advances into close range and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.

Some sustained pressure from Platero could be enough to finish Agbayani!  Platero lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a left uppercut to the head.
