Paul Friel vs Ingvar Gress

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 30/09/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Friel (13(6) - 0) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Ingvar Gress(25 - 15(3) - 3) from Copenhagen, Denmark.  Both Friel and Gress weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Byrne, and the three ringside judges are Rob Nesmith, Lee Beirne and Conor Whalen.

Friel steps inside.  Friel sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Friel lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Friel feints a right, and then lands a cross.  
Friel closes the distance and drives a solid right hook into Gress's body.  Friel clinches his opponent.  Friel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Friel pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Gress's body.  
Friel feints a jab, fooling Gress into throwing a left hook counter.  Friel springs the trap and counters with  a left uppercut.

Gress sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gress tries to land a jab, but Friel slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Friel steps to the outside.  Friel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand left.  
Friel lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.

Friel lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Friel advances into close range.  Friel knows Gress is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Friel lands a right hook, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND GRESS IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Gress now seems to have his senses back.  
Gress closes the distance.  Friel throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Friel ties up his opponent.  Friel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Friel.  
Friel closes the distance and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Gress throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Friel connects with a cross.  
Friel SLAMS a nasty left hook into his opponents face.  GRESS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Friel!
