Garrin Apt vs Iwao Sugawara

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan’s Boxing promoted show at Ochiai Park Gymnasium, Kasugai,  taking place on 25/09/2035:

Clearly Japan’s Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Garrin Apt (23(19) - 0) who hails from Bochum, Germany and Iwao Sugawara(3 - 1 - 1) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Apt and Sugawara weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Iwai, and the three ringside judges are Nao Sugiyama, Yasushi Ishimoto and Hajime Miki.  

Round 1: 

Apt is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Apt lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Sugawara tries to land a cross, but Apt blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Sugawara walks Apt down, trapping him on the ropes.  Apt lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Apt lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Apt clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Apt pushes his forearm into Sugawara's face.  The referee warns Apt and breaks the clinch.  
Apt throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Apt ties up his opponent.  Apt is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Apt hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Apt forces Sugawara to back into the blue corner.  Apt is on target with a right uppercut to Sugawara's body.  Apt ties up his opponent.  Apt leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Apt sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.

Apt advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Apt pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Apt lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sugawara almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Apt lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sugawara quickly recovers. 
Apt closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Apt connects with a firm right hook.  
Apt is on target with a sharp left hook to Sugawara's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sugawara dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Apt walks Sugawara into the blue corner.  Apt lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Sugawara throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Apt sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Apt lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Apt ties up his opponent.  Apt uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sugawara's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Apt about fouling.

Apt lands a telling cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE SUGAWARA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Sugawara could be stopped here, if Apt can find the right shot!  Apt lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS SUGAWARA TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Apt!
