Malik Ben vs Shayan Mamund

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Agyemang, Accra,  taking place on 23/09/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malik Ben (6 - 24 - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Shayan Mamund(13 - 9(1) - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Ben and Mamund weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nabulung Akoto, and the three ringside judges are Khalid Farooq, Shevon Adusei and Noel Koranteng.  

Round 1: 

Mamund steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Ben is looking to close the distance.  Ben pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ben dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mamund tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Ben parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
