Jose Zermeno vs Vidal Higuera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Santiago promoted show at Cruz Mellado Gym, San Bernardo,  taking place on 20/09/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Zermeno (6 - 11(2) - 2) who hails from Santiago, Chile and Vidal Higuera(12 - 7(1) - 2) from San Bernardo, Chile.  Zermeno weighed in at 129 pounds And 13 ounces, while Higuera weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pancho Peguero, and the three ringside judges are Juan Recio, Ulises Cerna and Rio Fallas.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Zermeno has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
