Richard Turcat vs James Griff

Boxing Daily Report from the Dana White promoted show at Vancouver Stackpoole, Vancouver,  taking place on 17/09/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richard Turcat (6 - 6 - 2) who hails from Richmond, Canada and James Griff(13(4) - 3 - 1) from Surrey, Canada.  Turcat weighed in at 129 pounds and 4 ounces, while Griff weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noel Louis-Dreyfus, and the three ringside judges are Rex Forker, Mike Messer and Jacob Peairs.  

Round 1: 

Griff lands a cross.  
Griff feints a left hook, and then lands a stinging overhand right.

Griff sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Turcat throws a right hook, but Griff holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Griff lands a right hook.  
Griff lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Griff lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Turcat tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Griff lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Griff ties up his opponent.  Griff is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Griff to stop fouling.

Griff is on target with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Turcat has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
