Pablo Mendes vs Frisco Raposa

Boxing Daily Report from the Nzeyi Promotions promoted show at Rodrigo Lagos Gym, Belo Horizonte,  taking place on 19/09/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Minas Gerais Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pablo Mendes (13 - 20(1) - 2) who hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Frisco Raposa(15(4) - 1) from Belo Horizonte, Brazil.  Mendes weighed in at 154 pounds, while Raposa weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leonel Cardoza, and the three ringside judges are Cris Junior, Federico Prior and Franco Caram.  

Round 1: 

Mendes throws a left uppercut, but Raposa ties up his opponent.  Raposa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Raposa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Raposa is on target with a firm right uppercut to Mendes's ribcage.
