Michael Durning vs Robert Mathias

Boxing Daily Report from the Ravens promoted show at Palladium Ballroom, Dallas,  taking place on 13/09/2035:

Clearly Ravens have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Durning (7(2) - 0) who hails from Worcester, USA and Robert Mathias(3 - 10 - 3) from Tampa, USA.  Both Durning and Mathias weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Zamorano, and the three ringside judges are Spencer Aurelio, Rob Smith and Orlando Merlin.  

Round 1: 

Durning is on target with a left hook to Mathias's liver.  
Durning gets on the inside.  Durning sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Durning is on target with a left hook.  Durning ties up his opponent.  Mathias tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Durning behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Durning closes the distance.  Durning drives a left hook into Mathias's liver.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Durning dabs at his face checking for damage.  Durning has taken some damage there.  That has caused a slight cut above.

You can sense the frustration from Mathias now.   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Durning's groin!  The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care!
