Noel Reece vs Martyn McCourt

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Salford City Stadium, Manchester,  taking place on 24/09/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Noel Reece (27(23) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Portsmouth, UK and Martyn McCourt(21(4) - 1(1)) from Swansea, UK.  Both Reece and McCourt weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thomas MacGregor, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Baldy, Isaac MacIver and Sammy Dunkerson.  

Round 1: 

Reece lands a hard jab.  
Reece lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  McCourt attempts to land a jab, but Reece sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
McCourt drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Reece lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand left to the head followed by a jab to the body.

McCourt steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  McCourt tries to land a left uppercut, but Reece parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

McCourt steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Reece is on target with a firm left hook to McCourt's body.  
Reece drives a left hook into McCourt's body.  
McCourt steps inside.  McCourt pivots to the side of his opponent.  Reece digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
McCourt pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.

McCourt tries to land a cross, but Reece slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
