Rehan Bakir vs Amjad Qureshi

Boxing Daily Report from the Katurole Promotions promoted show at Sana'a Lahood, Sana'a,  taking place on 08/09/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Sana'a Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehan Bakir (14 - 11(2) - 1) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Amjad Qureshi(6 - 18 - 3) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Both Bakir and Qureshi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Azam Guirguis, and the three ringside judges are Saad Khan, Farhan Ghali and Faisal Hossain.  

Round 1: 

Qureshi hits home with a left uppercut.  
Qureshi pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bakir dabs at his face checking for damage.  Bakir has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
