Paul Macklem vs Dan Buchanon

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Tennis), Los Angeles,  taking place on 01/09/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Macklem (20 - 5(2)) who hails from Omaha, USA and Dan Buchanon(24(16) - 4(2)) from Macon, USA.  Macklem weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Buchanon weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Ness, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Flockhart, Malcolm Waldie and Blake Green.
