Chris Flint vs Alec Steenson

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at Luna Park Big Top, Sydney,  taking place on 25/08/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Chris Flint (5 - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Alec Steenson(9 - 9 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Flint weighed in at 112 pounds, while Steenson weighed in at 111 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leeroy Babaianbabayan, and the three ringside judges are Bart Aday, Bart Aday and George Colden.  

Round 1: 

Flint tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right.  
Flint pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.

Steenson closes the distance.  Flint digs in a left hook to Steenson's body.  Flint ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Steenson pushes his forearm into Flint's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Steenson.

Flint lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Flint quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a cross into Steenson's body.  
Steenson manouvers Flint into a corner.  Steenson feints a jab, but Flint does not fall for it and responds with a right uppercut.  
Flint lands an overhand right.  
Steenson steps inside and walks Flint onto the ropes.  Flint lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Steenson is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Flint ties up his opponent.  Flint leans on his opponent using all his weight. Flint uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Steenson behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Flint about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Steenson's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Steenson's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
