Joshua Shirer vs Ian Shanklin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Hamilton Bethune, Hamilton,  taking place on 30/08/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Shirer (4 - 7 - 5) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Ian Shanklin(11 - 21 - 2) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Shirer weighed in at 147 pounds, while Shanklin weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is George Addair, and the three ringside judges are John Taitt, David Darnley and Danny Ewing.
