Robert Riggins vs Davie Crary

Boxing Daily Report from the Skol Promotions promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 30/08/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Riggins (9 - 15(1) - 4) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Davie Crary(18(2) - 2(1) - 1) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Both Riggins and Crary weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Cole, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Crail, Kieran Beynon and Dominic Mattick.  

Round 1: 

Riggins is on target with a cross.  
Crary lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Crary gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Crary forces Riggins to back into a corner.  Crary pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Crary is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Crary is on target with a right hook to Riggins's body.  
Crary walks Riggins down, trapping him on the ropes.  Crary lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Crary lands a left hook.  
Crary is on target with a right hook.  
Crary is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.  
Crary feints a left hook, and then lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Crary is looking to close the distance and connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Crary steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Crary digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Crary lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.

Crary connects with a left hook.  Riggins wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Crary dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Crary.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
