Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 01/09/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Neil Fithen (17(9) - 3) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Wayne Preece(16 - 3) from Perth, Australia.  Both Fithen and Preece weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Sproule, and the three ringside judges are George Brain, Jack Hislop and Jacob Ridpath.
