Carlos Daguio vs Ryo Shimamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at Fukuoka Noda, Fukuoka,  taking place on 28/08/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Daguio (25(8) - 1 - 1) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Ryo Shimamoto(12 - 18(2) - 4) from Kurume, Japan.  Both Daguio and Shimamoto weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ryuu Komatsu, and the three ringside judges are Isamu Kawai, Satoshi Shinsato and Yoshi Ogura.  

Round 1: 

Daguio steps inside and drives a right hook into Shimamoto's body.  
Daguio lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Shimamoto connects with a right hook.  
Daguio gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Shimamoto steps away from his opponent and attempts to land an overhand right, but Daguio slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Daguio closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Shimamoto throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Daguio advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Daguio hits home with a stinging cross.  
Daguio closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Daguio holds on to his opponent.  Daguio leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Daguio's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Daguio digs in a sharp right uppercut to Shimamoto's body.  Shimamoto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Daguio dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Daguio gets on the inside and hits home with a solid right hook.

Shimamoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Daguio digs in a solid right hook to Shimamoto's ribs.  
Shimamoto walks Daguio down, trapping him on the ropes.  Daguio hits home with a sharp cross.  
Shimamoto lands a left hook.  
Daguio gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Daguio walks Shimamoto into the corner.  Daguio sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Daguio lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Daguio ties up his opponent.  Daguio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Daguio uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Shimamoto's kidney. 
Daguio lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
