John Haney vs Clint Castles

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Bob Guertin Arena, Gaineau,  taking place on 04/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Haney (27(2) - 5 - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Clint Castles(25 - 16(2) - 8) from New York City, USA.  Both Haney and Castles weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Patillo, and the three ringside judges are Sid Leys, Destin Dauphin and Ferrand Pradon.  

Round 1: 

Haney lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Haney connects with a stinging cross.  
Haney advances into close range and manouvers Castles into the corner.  Haney connects with a firm left uppercut.  Haney ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Haney pushes his forearm into Castles's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Haney lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Haney drives a firm left hook into Castles's ribs.  Haney ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Haney cuts off the ring, trapping Castles in a corner.  Haney lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Haney quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Haney lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Haney walks Castles down, trapping him in a corner.  Haney drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Haney clinches his opponent.  Castles leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Haney's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Haney advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Castles connects with a cross.  
Haney pivots to the side of his opponent.  Haney throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Haney's body.  
Haney gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Haney is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to Castles's body.  
Haney lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Haney lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Haney advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Castles switches the action to the outside.  Haney lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Haney closes the distance.  Haney pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Haney lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Haney ties up his opponent.  Haney pushes his forearm into Castles's face.  The referee warns Haney and breaks the clinch.  
Haney forces Castles to retreat into a corner.  Haney connects with a right uppercut.  
Castles is looking to keep his distance.  Haney hits home with a solid cross.  
Haney gets on the inside and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Haney lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES CASTLES!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Haney stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Haney lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES CASTLES!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Castles has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Castles throws a right hook, but Haney clinches his opponent.  Haney uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Castles's kidney.

Castles lands a jab.  
Haney gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Haney closes the distance and manouvers Castles into the red corner.  Haney lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Haney gets on the inside and digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Castles is looking to keep his distance.  Haney connects with a cross.  Haney attempts to land a cross, but Castles sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Haney's body.  
Haney gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!
