Vachel Brunet vs Cade Pagnol

Boxing Daily Report from the Phaahla Promotions promoted show at Boulogne-Billancourt Baune, Boulogne-Billancourt,  taking place on 24/08/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Ile-de-France Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vachel Brunet (6 - 8 - 1) who hails from Saint-Denis, France and Cade Pagnol(6 - 1) from Paris, France.  Brunet weighed in at 104 pounds and 4 ounces, while Pagnol weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeffrey Jean-Baptiste, and the three ringside judges are Leroy Nicolai, Porter Sauvage and Phillippe Orleans.  

Round 1: 

Pagnol gets on the inside and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Pagnol closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Pagnol walks Brunet down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pagnol lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Pagnol is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Pagnol connects with a firm right uppercut.  Brunet wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Pagnol has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
