Pierre Platini vs Granger Diaby

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Ile-de-France promoted show at Verity Cerdan Gym, Paris,  taking place on 24/08/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Ile-de-France Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pierre Platini (4 - 7 - 3) who hails from Paris, France and Granger Diaby(8(2) - 1) from Paris, France.  Platini weighed in at 103 pounds and 14 ounces, while Diaby weighed in at 104 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Julien Pradier, and the three ringside judges are Vail Le Vau, Andre Jalabert and Marc Yourcenar.  

Round 1: 

Diaby sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Platini quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Diaby time to recover.
