Ian Polson vs Esteban Villanueva

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 10/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Poison Ian Polson (17(16) - 0) who hails from Oceanside, USA and Esteban Villanueva(28 - 22(17) - 1) from Medellin, Colombia.  Both Polson and Villanueva weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Sander, and the three ringside judges are Seth Frith, Sam Lowe and Dylan Waddell.  

Round 1: 

Polson lands a jab.  
Polson advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Villanueva throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Polson connects with a firm left hook.  
Polson walks Villanueva down, trapping him in the corner.  Polson lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Polson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Polson DETONATES a DEVASTATING right uppercut on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE VILLANUEVA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Villanueva quickly recovers. 
Polson lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Villanueva almost instantly recovers. 
Polson slams a HUGE left uppercut into Villanueva's body.  VILLANUEVA IS HURT!  Villanueva almost instantly recovers. 
Polson lands a firm right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Villanueva's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Villanueva's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Villanueva's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Polson lands a right hook, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS VILLANUEVA TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Villanueva has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Polson is on target with a DESTRUCTIVE left hook.  VILLANUEVA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Villanueva could be stopped here, if Polson can find the right shot!  Polson lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING VILLANUEVA TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Polson!
