Chainey Barse vs Garen Noye

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Telo Latham Gym, Montreal,  taking place on 21/08/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chainey Barse (4 - 1 - 2) who hails from Laval, Canada and Garen Noye(17(8) - 6(1)) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Barse and Noye weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gower Paille, and the three ringside judges are James Dunlap, Jean-Baptiste Camus and Michael Oliver.  

Round 1: 

Noye closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Noye lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Noye attempts to land a right hook, but Barse blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Noye lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Noye manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Noye lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Noye clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Noye pushes his forearm into Barse's face.  The ref breaks Noye's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Noye is on target with a left hook.  
Barse throws a right hook, but Noye holds on to his opponent.  Noye pushes his forearm into Barse's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Noye to stop fouling.  
Noye gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Barse in a corner.  Noye is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Barse tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.

Barse connects with an overhand right.  Barse throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a big left hook to Barse's body.  BARSE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!
