Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 08/09/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Albano (5 - 0 - 1) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Shaun Hobkirk(5 - 5(2)) from Wollongong, Australia.  Albano weighed in at 160 pounds, while Hobkirk weighed in at 160 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Corrie, and the three ringside judges are Ian Rabb, Robert Reekie and Gianfranco De Nicolo.  

Round 1: 

Albano switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Albano lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Albano is looking to keep his distance and lands a solid overhand left.  
Albano tries to keep the action at long range and lands a WICKED cross.  HOBKIRK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Albano throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  Hobkirk almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Albano lands a cross.  
Hobkirk gets on the inside.  Albano lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Albano tries to step out of his opponents range.  The right shot from Albano could be enough to force the stoppage!  Albano lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HOBKIRK IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Hobkirk now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Hobkirk tries to land a cross, but Albano slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Albano steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Albano lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS HOBKIRK TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Albano!
