Goro Nomura vs Eoin McTaggart

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 26/08/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goro Nomura (5(4) - 0) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Eoin McTaggart(5 - 10(1) - 1) from Cork, Ireland.  Both Nomura and McTaggart weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shane MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Rory Carver, Ross Gauld and Joshua Dermott.  

Round 1: 

Nomura sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to McTaggart's body.  
Nomura is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Nomura digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.

McTaggart attempts to land a left uppercut, but Nomura sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.

Nomura hits home with a right hook.  Nomura clinches his opponent.  Nomura leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nomura advances into close range and walks McTaggart down, trapping him in the corner.  Nomura lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Nomura gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Nomura advances into close range.  Nomura pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into McTaggart's body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McTaggart dabs at his face checking for damage.  McTaggart has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

McTaggart tries to keep the action at long range.  Nomura hits home with a firm cross.  
Nomura drives a weighty right hook into McTaggart's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCTAGGART WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Nomura senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Nomura lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS MCTAGGART!  The ref does not give McTaggart the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Nomura!
