Merrill de Lisle vs Felix Harrier

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 12/08/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Merrill de Lisle (26(24) - 0) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Felix Harrier(18 - 11(2) - 4) from Seattle, USA.  de Lisle weighed in at 154 pounds, while Harrier weighed in at 153 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Nesmith, and the three ringside judges are Joshua MacCarthy, Sam Mulryan and Nathan Fitzgerald.  

Round 1: 

Harrier steps away from his opponent.  de Lisle is on target with a stinging cross.  de Lisle attempts to land a jab, but Harrier dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
de Lisle steps inside and connects with a solid left hook.  
de Lisle digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
de Lisle advances into close range and walks Harrier down, trapping him in the red corner.  de Lisle lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
de Lisle lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  de Lisle clinches his opponent.  de Lisle pushes his forearm into Harrier's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns de Lisle.  
de Lisle is looking to force the stoppage!  de Lisle lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS HARRIER TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Harrier now seems to have his senses back.  
de Lisle lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  de Lisle attempts to land a right uppercut, but Harrier blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
de Lisle lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
de Lisle is looking to close the distance and lands a solid right hook.  de Lisle holds on to his opponent.  de Lisle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
de Lisle lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  de Lisle holds on to his opponent.  de Lisle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
de Lisle closes the distance and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  de Lisle holds on to his opponent.  de Lisle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
de Lisle lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
de Lisle thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Harrier away.  de Lisle drives a forceful right hook into Harrier's ribcage.  HARRIER IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
de Lisle closes the distance.  de Lisle whips in a big left hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  de Lisle has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  It looks like Harrier has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
de Lisle manouvers Harrier onto the ropes.  de Lisle lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
de Lisle lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
de Lisle closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  de Lisle ties up his opponent.  de Lisle pushes his forearm into Harrier's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns de Lisle.  
de Lisle lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
de Lisle lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Harrier has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
de Lisle steps inside and walks Harrier into the blue corner.  de Lisle lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
de Lisle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp left hook.  
Harrier steps away from his opponent.  de Lisle feints a left, and then connects with a sharp cross.  
Harrier is looking to keep the action on the outside.  de Lisle lands a potent cross.  HARRIER IS HURT!  Harrier recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
de Lisle closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
de Lisle lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Harrier almost instantly gets his legs back. 
de Lisle lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Harrier almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Harrier's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Harrier's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Harrier's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
