Edmundo Morillo vs Macario Mazo

Boxing Daily Report from the Sowah Promotions promoted show at Maracaibo Fletes, Maracaibo,  taking place on 06/08/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Zulia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmundo Morillo (25(2) - 5 - 1) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Macario Mazo(7 - 11 - 2) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Morillo weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mazo weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Salas, and the three ringside judges are Jax Sicilia, Diego Mato and Senon Claudio.  

Round 1: 

Morillo closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
